HP poor printer support... Canon GOOD...

HP provides no Vista printer support
Canon IP 1600 and 54200 work perfectly..

There are many HP printer drivers built into vista. The one for my model was not, however, I picked the driver for a model number that was close to mine and it works fine. Hp has stated that all of the drivers will be available by early 2007.

Vista was due out 9 months ago.. Why Is there a problem with drivers???? I say it is an attempt to sell NEW equipment when Vista does it's final release..
Also:
ATI AGP 128 MB graphics card with their new Vista drivers will not play Windows Movie Maker..
But NVIDAIA PCI 128 MB 5200 will..
????????
A conspiracy

It is up to the hardware vendors to provide MS with drivers for their individual products and if they do not or they do not pass MS tests then MS does not provide them with their release. "BIA" wrote in message

Peter.. You haven’t been keeping up much lately have you.. It appears there maybe a Asus board/ATI/Vista problem. I have been able to figure this out by posting a question and weeding threw and avoiding rants such as yours.. 8:)
